University Communications and Marketing provides strategic leadership to protect, advance, and elevate the university's brand and reputation in Indiana and around the world by creating guiding resources for and collaborating with communications and marketing partners across all IU campuses, schools, departments, and centers.

Department Specific Responsibilities
- Helps showcase what life at the top-ranked Kelley School of Business is all about.
- Participates as a member of Kelley School's marketing team, creating fun and engaging photo and video content that boosts the Kelley brand and connects with students.
- Pitches fresh ideas and using their creative energy to find new ways to capture student life and iconic Kelley experiences like I-Core, case competitions, graduation, and more.
- Writes, edits, and schedules social media posts using Sprout Social.
- Develops and produces content for school-wide social media channels, including but not limited to images, videos, interviews, and social posts.
- Maintains and updates content on all social media outlets while building a social media fan/follower base among target populations.
- Generates and pitches ideas for and develop and evaluate social media content.
- Communicates with Kelley students to build influencer loyalty and track engagement.
- Oversees student takeovers of Kelley's Instagram account.
- Attends Kelley events that take place on campus as needed to curate student life content.
QualificationsEDUCATION
Required- Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
SKILLS
Required
- Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain social media campaigns and calendars, develop and evaluate performance metrics, and use social media and blog posting tools
- Interest in video editing, social media copywriting, graphic creation, and other skills
- Proficiency with computers, social media platforms, and MS Office Suite
Working Conditions / DemandsAttend multiple campus events each week
Work LocationBloomington, Indiana or Indianapolis, Indiana
Must be on campus ("in the office") during working hours
Work HoursMust work 10 to 15 hours per week
