Summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Clerk to support our team by accurately inputting and managing various forms of documentation into our systems. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate recording of daily paperwork, work orders, fuel usage, and meter readings into JDE. The ideal candidate should be organized, proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and have a strong understanding of filing systems. Experience with JDE, knowledge of equipment and fleet, and a fast-typing speed would be highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter daily paperwork, work orders, fuel usage, and meter readings into JDE systems.
• Organize, sort, and file both digital and physical documents for easy retrieval.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when inputting data.
• Use Microsoft Word and Excel to assist with report generation and documentation.
• Manage the flow of paperwork and ensure all work orders are entered in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure completeness and accuracy of all data entries.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure proper maintenance and organization of physical files.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.
• Experience with JDE (JD Edwards) or similar ERP systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of equipment and fleet management is an advantage.
• Must have a minimum typing speed of 50-70 WPM for efficient data entry.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in data entry, filing, or administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with equipment and fleet management is a plus.
