Essential Functions of the Job:

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
• Maintain a fixed asset system, ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Assist in quarterly physical inventory audits to verify asset existence and conditions
• Communicate with other divisions to balance intercompany entries and ensure accuracy
• Assist Senior accountants in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Conduct reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data
• Collaborate with the team to support overall financial integrity
• Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded.
  
• Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
  
• Under close supervision, compiles financial data accountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.
  
• Provides daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management as needed.
  

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Experience:

• 0-2 years in accounting

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with internal divisions for intercompany balancing
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in financial reporting
• Basic understanding of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Familiarity with reviewing expenses, and other financial elements
• Ability to perform reconciliations to ensure data accuracy
• Collaborative team player, willing to assist senior accountants as needed

Physical & Environmental Factors:

• While performing the duties of this position the employee is frequently required to stand and walk and stoop or kneel; and regularly required to sit, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
• The employee must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs.

**Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Pay Range: $55,000.00 - $60,320.00

This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident ["green card" holders] or have refugee or asylee status.
