RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's San Antonio, TX client has an exciting opportunity for an IT Program Manager in a contract-to-hire position. The candidate must be based in Texas and being located in San Antonio is preferred.Summary:As an IT Program Manager I - Business Transformation, you will support a portfolio that has impact across the organization ensuring strategic initiatives are executed efficiently. You will act as a trusted advisor, managing key project updates, monitoring KPIs/KRIs, facilitating executive-level communications, and providing high-level support. More than that, this role is about constant improvement and doing so with our signature all-win approach in mind.Duties:

• Develop program implementation approach and road map based on program vision articulated by leadership
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, and assigned leaders to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for program deliverables and workstreams
• Manage risks, issues & dependencies and maintain a RAID log to maximize delivery efficiency and productivity
• Manage and provide oversight of program status to Senior leaders and work across portfolio to prioritize and resolve high priority issues requiring escalation
• Work productively and positively with a wide range of individuals including project managers, key organizational leaders, resource managers and stakeholders
• Use effective project and program management methodology and techniques to enable the success of the portfolio
• Develop and maintain dashboards to evaluate and improve stakeholder satisfaction and program quality
• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting and contract renewals
• Organize town halls and team-building activities to foster a collaborative work environment
• Create advanced PowerPoint presentations that tell a compelling story

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
• 5+ years in an advanced technical project management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
• Demonstrated knowledge of project management disciplines, agile preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Demonstrated Experience supporting senior executives and delivering high-quality executive communications
• Experience in financial analysis and budget management
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma)
• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational skills

• Agile Certification (CSM or PMI-ACP)
• Program Management Professional Certification (PgMP)
• Change Management Certification (Prosci)
• Lean Six Sigma Certifications (LSSGB, LSSYB, LSSBB, LSS Champion)
• Demonstrated experience in providing policy, strategic and operational advice, and recommendations at a senior level
• Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement on complex and high-profile issues
• Knowledge of software engineering disciplines
