Position Overview:

The IT Digital Enablement Manager will lead our business process automation development team and spearhead innovative digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will champion the adoption of digital tools and automation solutions, driving enhanced team performance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and a passion for utilizing technology to optimize operational efficiency. This position reports to the Director of Organizational Change Management and is an in-office role located at our headquarters in Downtown Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business process automation developers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Drive the successful implementation of the Digital Enablement Center of Excellence to streamline business processes.
  • Develop and execute digital enablement strategies that align with organizational goals, promoting innovation and efficiency.
  • Identify and assess opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and digital trends, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments to identify needs and deliver effective digital solutions.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to secure buy-in and support for digital initiatives.
  • Offer technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful development and deployment of automation solutions.
  • Ensure best practices and company standards are followed in all digital enablement efforts.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital enablement projects, ensuring timely, on-budget, and in-scope completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital initiatives align with broader business objectives.

Experience and Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Proven leadership experience within IT, with a focus on digital enablement and business process automation.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working in IT organizations for mid to large-sized companies, applying technology to improve business processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to guide and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Expertise with low-code platforms and hands-on experience with at least one of the following: Microsoft Power Platform, UIPath, MS Copilot, or Pega.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills and a demonstrated ability to foster innovation.
  • Experience analyzing and designing business process improvements.
  • High energy and results-driven, with a proactive and action-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating strong project management skills and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience working with diverse, multicultural teams in a professional setting.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on digital enablement and process automation.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading and managing teams.
  • Certification in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or PMP.
  • Proven experience with cloud-based automation platforms and their integration into business processes.
  • Solid background in developing strategic roadmaps for digital enablement initiatives.
