Group 1001 is seeking an IT Auditor Manager who will work on all aspects of the IT internal audit plan focused on the assessment of IT systems and the mitigation of IT-related business risks. Reporting to the IT Audit Managing Director, you will be a part of a growing and evolving organization working to help individuals and communities thrive!

You Will:

  • Perform annual IT risk assessments and assist in developing an annual IT audit plan.
  • Assess and update the annual Model Audit Rule IT general controls scope and test procedures.
  • Complete and/or review annual Model Audit Rule testing and manage scheduled IT audits and consulting projects.
  • Manage the execution of internal audits and the needs of internal and external auditors, including planning and coordinating walkthroughs, and testing of IT general controls, application controls, and key system-generated reports.
  • Evaluate, monitor and report on the disposition and status of identified control deficiencies and related action plans.
  • Monitor audit management software solution usage and proactively identify process enhancement and efficiency opportunities.
  • Provide guidance around IT processes, risks, and controls - both for IT general controls and IT-dependent business process controls such as application controls and report-reliant controls.
  • Manage the SOC review program, including the evaluation of SOC reports and the impact of identified issues on the overall IT general controls environment.
  • Represent Internal Audit in enterprise projects such as system implementations to evaluate IT risks and controls.
  • Establish and own relationships with IT line managers and supervisors, as well as business line and control functions at all levels.
  • Oversee and mentor Internal Audit staff and seniors.

You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as information systems, computer science, business, finance, or accounting required.
  • Minimum experience of 4 years in internal or external auditing, with emphasis on IT auditing. Background in public companies with complex IT environments or Big 4 accounting firms is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of information technology and cybersecurity risks and controls.
  • Experience with using and administering audit and compliance management tools (e.g., AuditBoard)
  • Strong knowledge of information technology security and control frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity, CobIT) to mitigate cybersecurity risks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • One or more of the following professional certifications preferred: Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security, Professionals (CISSP), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
  • Financial services experience would be ideal but is not required.
  • Experience with audit-based data analytics is preferred.

Work Location:

This is a hybrid position based out of our Zionsville, IN, office located at 10555 Group 1001 Way. We are seeking candidates local to the Indianapolis metro area and willing to commute to that office on a regular basis.
