Job Title: Information Security Analyst (Contingent Resource)

Job Description:

As an Information Security Analyst, you will:

• Consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Information Security Analysis.
• Contribute to large-scale planning related to Information Security Analysis deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Information Security Analysis challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Information Security Analysis deliverables.
• Leverage a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Information Security Analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the owner of the Enterprise Information Classification Matrix (ICM) to ensure appropriate treatment and protection of specific types of data.
• Vet and approve requested changes to the matrix, leveraging subject matter experts and presenting to formal executive governance forums for approval.
• Maintain attention to detail and professional writing skills.
• Utilize analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Understand data loss prevention technologies.
• Be proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Review and update desktop procedures, risk control documentation, templates, meeting notes, and respond to mailbox requests.
• Utilize Jira for task management.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis, or equivalent experience through work, consulting, training, military service, or education.
