What you will do:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for hourly manufacturing employees using Kronos to ensure accuracy and timely submission.
• Prepare payroll reports and manage employee benefits administration, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
• Maintain accurate employee data in Workday, updating HRIS systems to ensure records are current.
• Manage and process short and long-term disability claims.
• Administer and track FMLA paperwork, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
• Oversee the Attendance Control Program, tracking attendance data and preparing monthly reports for the Plant Controller.
• Coordinate staffing needs and manage manufacturing manning schedule.
• Track employee training through our learning management system to ensure all training requirements are met.
• Direct recruitment efforts for hourly positions, post job openings, review resumes, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage background checks for seamless onboarding.
• Facilitate safety meetings. Prepare agendas, document action items, and follow-up on safety initiatives. Assist in maintaining safety records and incident reporting.
• Process pension documents for hourly employees and supply wage information to Corporate on a routine basis.

What You'll Bring:

• Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field. Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in HR and payroll, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, HRIS systems, and database management.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written.
• Familiarity with Kronos and Workday is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
