Our Human Resources team has an immediate opening at our Buena, NJ location for an HR Administrative Assistant who is ready to take their career to the next level. As an HR Administrative Assistant at Comar you will be a critical member of the HR team in managing the fundamental day to day tasks that keep the HR department operating at the highest efficiency level. What you will do:

· Answer and forward calls coming into the HR office

· Greet and check-in all guests to the main office

· Act as first point of contact for employees with HR related questions

· Maintain data accuracy for HRIS related changes to an employee record

· Assist with scheduling interviews and new hire orientation & onboarding

· Assist with job description formatting and maintaining accurate records of all active jobs

· Maintain and creates personnel files

· Manage building access for vendors, contractors, temps, new-hires, terms, etc.

· Act as a key member for monitoring our rewards and recognition program

· Assist with coordination and planning of employee engagement events

· Assist with metrics/reporting, benefits, compliance, compensation, and other HR related tasks as requested

Who we’re looking for:

· High School diploma or equivalency required

· Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred

· 1 years of HR related experience preferred

· Experience in an HRIS software system (UKG/Ultipro experience a huge plus)

· Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality

· Ability to complete tasks efficiently

· Ability to prioritize effectively
