The Graphic Designer is an established performer who works to facilitate and support the Creative and Brand Experience function and projects. This role utilizes strong knowledge of the design industry practices and standards in the production of designs and is responsible for creating visually appealing effective designs.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:

    • Consult with employees throughout the company to determine project needs.
    • Translate client needs into multiple design options that allow flexibility in achieving the project's goals.
    • Use artistic skills and basic design principles to determine the best visual effect in planning, developing, and designing creative materials that consistent with the image of Company brands.
    • Review proofs to ensure that all specifications are met, and the best visual effect is achieved.
    • Collaborate with team members to contribute ideas for concept development.
    • Maintain all completed project files for future use.
    • Research design trends to keep abreast of industry trends, techniques, technology, and software.
    • Determine ways to enhance the company's designs from those of competitors.
    • Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team.
    • Draw from prior experience, interpret facts, and identify incomplete data/anomalies to solve problems.
    • Uses innovative solutions to enhance personal work and, where applicable, the work of the team.
    • Effectively apply functional, process, and procedural or technical knowledge to address business challenges.
    • Provide guidance and assistance to entry-level professionals.
    • Influence others within the job area through explanation of facts and policies to resolve routine issues.
    • Performs other duties as needed.
    • Skilled at working with multimedia content - video, still photography and graphic design

Required Experience and Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    • 2-4 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Advanced knowledge in color correction, image resolutions, advanced photography skills, and current workflow procedures.
    • Skills in post-production editing.
    • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite.

Competencies:
    • Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards.
    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
    • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Ability to use Mac and PC.
    • Knowledge of graphic illustration and art design principles and concepts.
    • Ability to manage and execute projects.
