Position & Client Overview:
Come work as a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist in Ferry County, Washington on the day shift at a 25-bed critical access hospital that provides access to laboratory services for outpatients, inpatients, ER department, and clinic.
This is a four 10-hour shift position with required on call weekend rotations.
The certified laboratory professional will perform waived, moderate, and high complexity testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Coagulation, and Molecular Diagnostics. Must be able to perform phlebotomy, specimen collections, process and analyze samples in the clinical laboratory, provide quality customer service, and act as a knowledgeable resource for the hospital and community.
Noted for its fossils, natural beauty and recreational possibilities, this area is nestled in a valley between Wauconda and Sherman Passes at the intersection of Washington State Routes 20 and 21 in the north central part of the state.
Salary Range: $35-46/hour with a $4,000 sign on bonus
Job Summary:
Discover the presence or absence of disease and provide data that help physicians determine the best treatment for the patient. Specialty areas of laboratory medicine include clinical chemistry, hematology, transfusion services, clinical immunology, clinical microbiology, serology and the emerging field of molecular diagnostics.
