Ledgent Accounting & Finance has partnered with an established quick-service restaurant chain and is actively seeking a Senior Financial Analyst OR Finance Manager to join their team! Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will assist with preparing the annual budget, analyzing food, labor, and other costs to help Operations achieve their financial and operational targets.
We're seeking someone with experience in chain restaurants that has menu and marketing analytics experience. Strong Excel and SQL is also required.
Qualifications:
- Strong Excel skills (VBA, modeling, complex formulas)
- SQL
- Data Central or Power BI
- Must have QSR (fast-food or "quick-service" restaurant) or multi-unit restaurant industry experience (understanding transactions, etc.)
- Strong understanding of financial impact of strategic initiatives, including new product launches, market expansions, and/or capital investments
- Experience preparing a budget (annual or long term) for MIS, Digital Experience, Loyalty Marketing, and/or Consumer Product Goods
- Data/marketing analytics background
- Must be an excellent communicator - will be reporting to board members, pulling data & giving recap.
Responsibilities:*Helps troubleshoot and resolve common data accuracy issues with financial reporting and systems and makes recommendations to resolve them
*Coordinates the preparation and presentation of regional financial plans and interprets trends and financial results of the regions.
*Creates and publishes KPI reports by working closely with Finance, HR, and IS.
*Develops financial reporting for varying levels of management within the region, effectively communicating actionable and impactful insights. Builds credibility as a trusted partner within and outside of Finance.
*Prepare Board Reporting and Analyze
*Uses various business models-develop projections for long term analysis based on market conditions
*Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management and restaurant operations
*Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting
*Spearhead the annual and quarterly budgeting and forecasting processes
