Position Description

Role Title (Moma title): Analyst

Project Overview:

• Our team provides data analysis and reporting support for operations teams. We are seeking an analyst to support business reporting, understand and communicate information regarding operation metrics definitions, visualize data, and perform deep-dive analysis as needed.

Overall Responsibilities:

• Drive efficiencies into the business tracking and monitoring progress for both business reviews and dashboard reporting.

Analyze work pipeline and workflow and increase efficiency by recognizing opportunities for development and proactively creating new systems and structures.

Track performance metrics, perform deep dives as requested, and effectively communicate findings to team.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

• Work with staff to identify inefficiencies in existing business reporting systems and propose & implement changes to improve systems.

Troubleshoot broken reporting systems, implement solutions and communicate status of fix and resolution of task.

Perform analysis deep-dives ad hoc as requested to understand areas for performance improvement or create custom dashboards to surface areas of opportunity.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience in SQL and data analysis. Strong preference for a BA/BS degree, however, experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable for this role. Proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience. Proficiency in data reporting and effective data visualization Experience in building performance and informative dashboards from data (ex. Plx dashboards, Tableau, Microstrategy, Sisense) Familiarity with Spreadsheet such as Excel and/or Google Cloud products (eg Google Sheets) and Apps Script development work. Scripting experience (ex. Google AppScript and/or Javascript). Strong professional etiquette, organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written skills, strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to multitask, set priorities and work efficiently in a high-paced environment
