Construction Estimator
******K12 or Retail estimating experience is required!!!!!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join a leading construction firm specializing in municipal and K12 projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating commercial construction projects, particularly K-12 educational facilities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, with an emphasis on K12 and/or municipal projects.
  
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
  
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
  
• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
  
• Monitor and update project budgets and cost forecasts.
  
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on cost-related matters.
  
• Maintain and update estimating databases and tools.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating commercial construction projects, with a focus on K12/municipal projects.
  
• A Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  
• Proven experience in commercial construction is required.
  
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
