Position Summary: Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist - Jupiter, FL.
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Primary duties are in support of the EH&S fire safety program, including but not limited to liaison to State Fire Marshal and coordination of SFM inspections of facilities and construction sites, responding to fire alarms, coordinating corrective actions for fire safety deficiencies.
- Support of general EH&S operations, i.e. record keeping, training, equipment maintenance, EH&S facilities and vehicle maintenance, etc.
- Special projects.

Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma and four years of appropriate experience required.
This position requires a valid Florida driver's license.
Salary:$22.50 per hour.

Location:John D. MacArthur Campus - Jupiter
Work Days and Hours:Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
