Who are we looking for?

GHD is currently seeking an Entry-Level Civil Engineer with a focus on civil infrastructure, highways and roads to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse transportation, development and related infrastructure projects in northern California and across the western US.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings and construction documents for various projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Develop design concept drawings and ideas, contributing to the creative process and project development.
• Calculate quantities and costing for projects, providing essential data for project planning and budgeting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met and deliverables are completed on time.
• Ensure timely production of deliverables and carry out quality checks and procedures.
• Provide professional assistance to our construction management team in Redding, ensuring accurate inspections, calculations, and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 0-2 years of industry experience.
• EIT certification is preferable.
• Experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; experience with MicroStation is a plus.
• Good time management skills and the ability to handle conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Additional certifications or skills in relevant software and tools are a plus.

Salary Range: $66,000 - 72,500 based on experience.
