Overview
The ELT and Cultural Orientation Instructor provides admin and assessment support to the English Language Training (ELT) and cultural orientation team for adult refugees in order to assist them in becoming economically self-sufficient. Instruction is targeted to enhance immediate employability and teach essential skills necessary for living in the U.S. Lessons are designed to simulate English language use in different real-life situations, such as job interviews, working with English-speaking co-workers and communicating effectively supervisors, scheduling medical appointments and calling out of work in the event of illness or inclement weather.

Purpose
The ELT Instructor is responsible conducting assessments for teaching English language skills to non-native speakers, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening. This position will require in person and virtual assessments of English Language skills and the facilitator will be responsible for maintaining information entry into the database system.
