Job Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties as described below:
General Job Duties:

- To perform daily cross-functional job assignments as required and per the department's established procedures and work instructions.
Specific Job Duties:
- To perform regular workplace inspections, conducting safety talks, staff meetings, tail gate meetings, being involved in the accident/incident investigation program, training new employees, correcting unsafe acts or conditions, correct or commend health and safety performance and conducting performance appraisals for workers' production performance.
- To report all accidents immediately and complete necessary paperwork.
- Direct the Production Team in their efforts to achieve all Key Operational Indicators by participating on a daily basis in team meetings and offering ideas/suggestions.
- Serve as Acting Department Manager in the absence of the Department Manager.
- Ensure that Production Team Leader enforce all Employee Handbook Policies & Team Member Expectations.
- Manage production activities through strong leadership, communication, motivation and direction of employees to ensure product quality and delivery.Train team leaders and members in developing teamwork skills and team oriented activities in a positive working environment.Coordinate the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials and employees to meet Key Operational Indicators.Track time sheets and attendance records to ensure that all performance reviews are completed in a timely manner. Check ADP and put in sick/vacation time.Manage Overtime Equalization to ensure that it is fairly administratedCoordinate staffing needs and ensure that all personnel issues are dealt with in a timely manner.Ensure strict compliance to all IATF procedures.Participate in the advanced product quality planning activities for the development of Process Flows, PFMEA's, Control Plans and Work Guidances.Must be able to work any shift, weekends and overtime.Train personnel as directed by the Department Manager in the implementation of the specified application methods and parameters in accordance to the control plans established.Report all accidents, injuries, and near misses immediately.Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.Exemplify the Charter principle for a safe and healthful workplace.Demonstrate awareness for the safety of others in the work environment.Integrate safety into all element of the organization.Make every effort to eliminate hazardous conditions and practices.Inspect examination of workplace condition to ensure they conform to applicable standards.Demonstrates commitment and support personnel to reducing the impacts of its operation on the environment.
Educational Requirements:Bachelor's Degree preferred. Six years work related experience might be substituted in lieu of degree. Work experience combined with current schooling towards degree will be considered.Operational knowledge of management information systems, use of personal computers and application software.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum three to five years supervisory experience.Demonstrated organizational, communication, problem solving and people skills.The ability to coordinate other shift activities in addition to functional responsibility for his/her own shift operations.
