Basic Job Functions:
- Must adhere to Nucor's safety programs and standards.
- Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor's vision and values.
- Tag all orders
- Handle some retail orders: Quoting; Tagging; Preparation of paperwork; Payment collection
- Preparation (printing) of all drawings for deliveries
- Reconciliation of tail inventory
- End shipment reconciliation
- Inspection requests as needed
- Some purchasing required
- Backup for other administrative personnel
- Schedule all deliveries with Trucking/Jobsites
- Maintain accurate and organized files for all jobs and deliveries
- Other duties as assigned
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must have a high school diploma, GED or local/state equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with reinforcing steel
- Forklift experience a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office
Special Demands
- Some overtime may be required during our busy season
