Our mission is to serve quality products with fast and friendly service in a clean atmosphere.

Purpose of the Position:

The purpose of this position is to maintain cleanliness of dishes, dish room and stock the dish room with clean dishes.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Related to Position:

• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures
• Knowledge of the operation of commercial dish machine
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a continuous basis
• Ability to stand for long periods where wet processes are used
• Ability to work in congested work areas
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Ability to wear protective footwear

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required :

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma
• Experience working in the food service industry with dish washer responsibilities

Additional Consideration(s):

Experience:

• Experience in the operation of a commercial dish machine
• Experience with workplace safety procedures
• Experience with sanitation procedures

Salary Information:

Starting at $14.50 per hour, Commensurate with Education and Experience

Conditions of Employment:

This is an HOURLY position and does NOT entitle the incumbent to Commonwealth of Virginia benefits and is limited to 1500 hours in a 365-day period;

Selected candidate will be required to attend a 2-Day New Employee Orientation Program;

Selected candidate must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. on a continuous basis;

Selected candidate must have the ability to stand for long periods where wet processes are used;

Selected candidate must have the ability to work in congested work areas;

Selected candidate must have the ability to work in extreme temperatures.
