Location: Cudahy, WI
Salary: $130,000.00 USD Annually - $160,000.00 USD Annually
Description:
The Judge Group is in search of a Quality Director to lead all quality programs and compliance for the Manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.

Please note: This position requires a candidate to have experience in machining / metals-related industry such as Aerospace or Automotive.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action
• Perform internal and external quality audits and compile detailed reports of findings
• Build a strong team through coaching, mentoring, specific training and performance evaluations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering
• 7+ years of Quality Assurance Management experience in metals/machining related industries
• Extensive QMS knowledge of ISO 9001 systems
• Some form of complex QMS such as IATF 16949 or AS91000 is highly preferred
• Experience with Metal/Steel Components
• PPAP/APQP experience
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
