JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Director of Finance Transformation to lead the modernization of our finance function & oversee the integration of acquired companies. This strategic role is critical to advancing our financial capabilities through process optimization, technology integration, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, deep knowledge of best practices in finance processes/systems, and a proven ability to drive significant change within an organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline finance processes, improve efficiencies, and reduce costs across the finance function.
  • Post-Acquisition Integration: Lead the financial integration of acquired companies, ensuring seamless alignment with our existing processes, systems, and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with M&A, IT, Integration Team and operational teams to coordinate integration activities, address challenges, and ensure the successful onboarding of acquired finance teams.
  • Technology Integration: Drive the adoption and implementation of financial technologies (ERP systems, automation tools, etc.) to enhance data accuracy, reporting, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Change Management: Champion a culture of continuous improvement and lead change management efforts to ensure successful implementation of finance transformation initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads outside of Finance, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for finance transformation projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple finance transformation projects & financial integrations, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Team Development: Provide mentorship to the broader financial organization on process improvement, Lean management & software
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and regularly assess the effectiveness of finance transformation initiatives, making adjustments as needed to achieve desired outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on finance transformation, process improvement, or financial systems implementation.
  • Bias for action & proven track record of executing transformational projects
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, transactional accounting & compliance.
  • Experience with ERP systems and financial technologies; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Alteryx, PowerBI and/or UIPath is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in change management and leading cross-functional teams.
