Basic Job Functions:

  • Be an active member of the NBGTX/AL Leadership Team and demonstrate a commitment to Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Productivity through demonstrated integrity and leadership within their group.
  • Assist the company sales & profit efforts by driving, directing, supervising & leading the overall activities of the Sales Service Team.
  • Develop strong, professional, and personal working relationships with our customer base and other departments.
  • Ensure price, schedule, and scope clarity.
  • In conjunction with the Sales Service Manager, evaluate, oversee, and manage commercial risk, commercial litigation issues, and building warranty programs.
  • Travel to sales meetings, customer's offices, and jobsites as needed and potentially on short notice.
  • In conjunction with the Sales Service Manager, the Customer Service Supervisor is the primary individual responsible for the following:
    • Develop and implement teammate training and PDP programs as well as provide performance appraisals and recommend compensation adjustments based on performance.
    • Provide mentoring, coaching and accountability to the Sales Service Team.
    • Develop and maintain current Sales Service policies, procedures and practices.
    • Develop and manage realistic department staffing requirements: recruiting, interviewing, and hiring.
    • Develop members of the Sales Service Team beyond the basic functions of Sales Service including, but not limited to, business acumen, problem solving, sales, and customer service skills.

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 years' experience in leading teams.
  • Ability to travel as required, often with short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two to four (2-4) years of combined experience in engineering, detailing, estimating, sales service, sales of metal building systems, or related fields.
  • Prior leadership experience
