Job Details:

The Law Department of Tyson Foods is seeking an experienced contracts attorney to join its legal team. As a Corporate Counsel in the Transactional Services group at Tyson Foods, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, IT/SaaS agreements, and sponsorship agreements. You will also be responsible for providing legal advice to internal stakeholders on a variety of related matters. This role is primarily focused on supporting Tyson's shared services such as Procurement and IT.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including vendor agreements, IT/SaaS agreements, and licensing agreements.
  
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, rights, and obligations related to contracts and other legal matters.
  
• Manage and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and business needs.
  
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure contracts accurately reflect business requirements.
  
• Assist with the development and maintenance of contract templates and standard clauses.
  
• Support other legal initiatives as needed.
  

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Law degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in at least one jurisdiction.

Experience: 4+ years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation at a reputable law firm or in a corporate legal environment.

Skills:

• Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  
• In-depth knowledge of contract law and familiarity with applicable laws and regulations.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  

Travel: Minimal travel is expected for this role.
