The Role

Lithko Contracting is seeking a Construction Manager - Heavy Industrial to lead the execution of mega/regional projects. This role focuses on overseeing field production and execution, ensuring strict adherence to project-specific parameters. Success in this role requires strong leadership, proactive planning, and adaptability to ensure the project meets cost, schedule, quality, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build Teams: Proactively develop and motivate high-performing teams by communicating expectations and competencies to achieve optimal results.
  • Know the Project: Become deeply knowledgeable of contract requirements and project scope to deliver expected outcomes while mitigating risks.
  • Create Processes: Develop and implement project-specific processes to address unique project needs.
  • Execute with Excellence: Collaborate with key project leadership to plan and execute contractual requirements, focusing on cost, schedule, quality, safety, and environmental considerations, while maintaining elevated reporting standards for mega/regional projects.
  • Coordinate Resources: Define project needs and allocate field resources in alignment with schedule demands and budget limitations.
  • Lead Teams: Drive operational excellence through effective leadership, process implementation, and accountability for peak productivity throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster Relationships: Build strong relationships with General Contractors, clients/customers, Engineers/Architects of Record, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Project Leadership: Collaborate regularly with key project leaders such as the Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and Logistics Lead to ensure project success.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of construction project management and field operations experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex, large-scale projects valued at $300M+.
  • Expertise in industrial/manufacturing projects.
  • Concrete experience is preferred.
  • Experience leading teams of 10+ people.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is required.
