$1200 Sign-On Bonus
Responsible for answering and directing all telephone calls within the facility; assist patients in the scheduling, re-scheduling and cancellation of appointments; distributes written prescriptions and sample medications carefully verifying names before dispersing; responsible for all patient registration; assist patients at the time of their departure by scheduling any ancillary tests or return appointments; assist patients by answering any questions regarding current charges or previous bills; uses the cash drawer with accuracy taking payments on accounts and providing receipts; follows the "Missed Appointment" procedure and takes care of all no-show appointments for the business day; other office duties as needed.
Requirements:
1) High school diploma, GED or equivalent
2) Keyboarding minimum of 35 wpm
3) Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
4) Good organizational skills
5) Ability to comprehend, retain and apply given information
6) Good understanding of lab and imaging tests and the ability to order them with accuracy
7) Experience in office procedures helpful but not necessary.

Salary commensurate with up to 10 years experience.
