Wood is recruiting for a Renewable Energy Intern to join our Renewables Advisory and Analysis Team. As a Wood Intern you will join a culture of innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is possible to seek the best solutions for our clients.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Summer Intern to support our Analysis and Advisory team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy consulting and contribute to impactful projects. The intern will work closely with experienced professionals, gaining insights into renewable energy development, data analysis, energy yield assessments, and technical evaluations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the analysis of energy yield data and production of templates and reports.
• Support the preparation of technical due diligence templates and reports.
• Conduct research on industry trends and market developments.
• Support business optimization efforts to improve efficiencies, data management, and benchmarking
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Assist in the development of presentations and reports for clients.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to brainstorming sessions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering, Environmental Science, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Python).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work lawfully in the US, without sponsorship from Wood
