Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for a Chemist to support our Professional Scientific Services group in Lincoln, NE.

Chemist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Conduct analytical testing of raw material components used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical and vaccine products

• Work with other analysts to complete testing of raw materials in the timelines specified to insure all production schedules are met

• Perform all testing in compliance with FDA, EU, and company standards

The ideal candidate would possess :

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Basic Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)

• At least two years of related analytical laboratory experience

• Demonstrated proficient use of analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC and UV/Vis testing

• Demonstrated proficient use of wet chemistry skills

• Familiarity with FDA guidelines and cGMPs

• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is a temporary full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lincoln, Nebraska are encouraged to apply.
