Description:
Judge Healthcare is actively seeking a dedicated Care Manager in Orange, CA.

This pivotal role entails supervising and evaluating Behavioral Health Treatment (BHT), including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for our qualified members.

You will conduct initial screenings, triage, and assessments of members to ascertain the necessary care level, adhering to established medical necessity criteria. They will also oversee the authorization process for BHT services requested by behavioral health practitioners.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline, plus a minimum of four years' experience in delivering ABA or mental health services, inclusive of clinical review and treatment plan management. Comparable combinations of education and experience that meet the job's essential functions may also be considered.

Preferred Experience:

• Background in authorization and utilization review.
• Experience in managed healthcare settings.
• Professional experience post-degree in ABA.
• Expertise in quality assurance protocols.

Necessary Licenses/Certifications:

• An active, unrestricted California license such as LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, RN (with behavioral health experience), BCBA, or BCBA-D is required.
