Job Summary

The Cardiac Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients requiring diagnostic testing in an organized and systematic manner according to established department/hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications
Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Vocational / Technical Degree (Preferred)
Certification / Licensure / Registration
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Heartsaver AED (Required)
  • Cardiac Credentialing InterNational (Preferred)
Experience and Skills
  • Required Skills: Strong Verbal Communications Skills, Strong Written Communications Skills, ExcellentInterpersonal Skills, Excellent Organizational Skills, Strong Customer Services Skills
Physical Requirements and Physical Demands
  • Adequate hearing to perform job duties in person and over the telephone. Hears alarms/telephone/taperecorder/normal speaking voice.
  • Must be able to accurately document pertinent information either by writing or typing.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone.
  • Must be able to distinguish colors.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks/motion.
  • Must have good eye-hand-foot coordination.
  • Must have good manual dexterity.
