RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst in San Antonio, TX.Summary:Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for data-driven decision-making in credit risk? We are seeking a credit risk Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll leverage cutting-edge tools and techniques to design and implement automated credit risk strategies that drive success across various financial products.Duties:- Requirements Analysis: Gather and document business needs through interviews, workshops, and analysis of workflows and use cases
- Agile Documentation: Create Epics, Stories, and User Tasks, and assess their impact across multiple platforms and applications
- Solution Design: Translate business requirements into optimal solution designs and actionable strategies
- Project Artifacts: Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Specification Documents (FSDs), and supporting documentation like process flows and data mapping
- Project Management: Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, ensuring seamless execution
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Use SAS (Enterprise Guide & Base) to analyze and query databases, providing pre- and post-implementation insights
- Risk Oversight: Monitor credit risk controls, ensuring compliance with policies and identifying dependencies within decisioning systems
- Collaborative Methodologies: Manage large IT projects using Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum frameworks
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of banking concepts
- Expertise in SAS for data analysis and reporting
- Strong background in credit risk management for financial products
- Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to create clear and effective documentation, from BRDs to FSDs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
