Join us as an Associate Director of Specialized Roles Learning & Capability Development, where you will be a key contributor to the strategic direction and leadership of the training team supporting the diagnostics (Precision Medicine), Market Access (MA) AZ business units, and Oncology Nurse Educator (ONE) programs. This is an opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive training program that enhances the capabilities of our customer-facing teams, ultimately driving positive impact on patient care.

Accountabilities:

As part of your role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior training managers to understand current and future learning needs of the business. You will support the creation, implementation, and evaluation of the annual learning plans, ensuring alignment with US and Global business priorities and compliance standards. You will also assist in anticipating market changes and revising training programs to proactively address those changes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech/oncology experience
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Training experience and program evaluation experience required
  • Consultative abilities and expertise in identifying client needs
  • Experience leading vendor partner relationships
  • Strong awareness of capability frameworks
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Advanced degree in a related field
  • US Oncology Market Access experience required
  • Understanding of the US Payor landscape and market-shaping capabilities
  • Awareness of oncology biomarker and testing practices
  • 2 years of people management experience
  • Experience with learning technology systems (e.g., Degreed, Cornerstone)
  • Annual budgeting awareness
