The Associate Director, Medical Communications & Information,is accountable for the execution of US & Global MC&I brand/therapeutic area deliverables, including responding to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, reviewing/providing scientific consult to promotional materials, and development of scientific content for internal and external stakeholders. The area of focus and level of involvement across specific activities is determined based on the active needs of the therapeutic area team.
This position is part of the Content Excellence Team within MC&I, and reports directly to an MC&I Director within the respective TA team. In collaboration with their Director, they also play a critical role in supervising and supporting Medical Information Managers within their team.
The Associate Director is responsible for delivering on an existing pipeline of work, while also improving operational efficiency and the process of prioritization to manage priorities and capacity.
