Your new role:

Looking to hire an Assistant Project Manager for a rapidly growing General Contractor headquartered in Columbia, MD. The core markets they operate in are federal and local government, municipal, industrial/warehouse, and commercial interiors. Exciting opportunity for anyone looking to join a mid-size organization who are focusing on growth and development from within!

Core Responsibilities:

• Support Project Management team from bidding through close-out
• Participate in project scheduling, bidding, take-offs, procurement, and other tasks as needed.
• Develop, log, schedule, and review all project documentation and submittals.
• Manage RFI's, submittals, change orders, permits, and other project documentation.
• BIM coordination
• Work with subcontractor to manage punch list items

• Average projects valued between $2.5M-$5M.
• Projects can vary from renovations, SCIF, minor and new construction, alteration work, with a specialty in Design Build projects.

To be successful in this role:

• 2-3 years' experience within a commercial general contractor or subcontractor
• Hungry to learn all aspects of Project Management

• Currently operating in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager position for a commercial general contractor.
• Construction related degree preferred, ideally in Construction Management. Relevant experience would also be considered.
