Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:This is a nine-month appointment (additional summer teaching a possibility). The faculty member will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in all areas of finance, with a preference given to those experienced and interested in teaching investment- related courses, including fixed income instruments. The teaching load is nine hours per long semester. Experience teaching courses online is a plus. Candidates must have a strong commitment to research which leads to refereed publications. Service to the university and the profession is also expected.
Educational Requirements for the Position:Ph.D. or D.B.A. with specialization in Finance from an AACSB-accredited college of business program. ABD's ("All But Dissertation") will be considered.
Other Requirements for the Position:Experience using / teaching on Bloomberg terminals a plus. Experience with the certified financial planning program is also a plus.
Special Instructions Summary:The appointment is effective for the 2025 - 2026 academic year.
