The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of culturally responsive strategies for delivering evidence based mental health practices, as well as implementation of CBT or other evidence-based practices in community mental health settings - particularly those serving historically marginalized communities. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D or equivalent degree. Licensed clinical psychologist or license-eligible in Pennsylvania.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching community mental health providers and organizations to implement high-fidelity evidence-based mental health practices, with an emphasis on culturally responsive approaches, as well as supervision of postdoctoral fellows around both research and implementation activities.
Clinical responsibilities may include delivery of CBT for anxiety disorders, as well as consultation with community providers on the application of CBT with their clients.
Research or scholarship responsibilities may include leadership and collaboration in the development of grant-funded and contract-funded implementation research and practice, including academic scholarship, development of training and implementation resources, and grant submissions.
