The successful candidate will actively engage with undergraduate and graduate students both inside and outside of the classroom and advance a high-quality research program. The Department of Mathematics at Wake Forest University takes seriously the charge to be a space which is truly welcoming to all, and we are actively engaged in working to remove barriers to success and create new systems of support for students and faculty. The department has twenty-eight faculty members. We offer the following undergraduate degrees: a B.A. and a B.S. degree in Mathematics and a B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics; we also have a mathematics minor. The department also has a graduate program offering an M.S. degree in Mathematics with both a thesis and non-thesis option. In addition, the department currently supports five postdoctoral positions which are mentored by our permanent research faculty.
