Holman Motorcars St. Louis has an outstanding opportunity for a Assistant General Manager to join the Holman family!
Job Summary:
The AGM will oversee the dealership's overall performance and strategic direction. This role requires a leader with extensive experience in the automotive industry, particularly in the luxury segment. The AGM will oversee operations, sales, customer service, and team management to ensure the highest standards of service and profitability. The AGM will work hand in hand with the team in Fort Lauderdale in support of the Motorcars Ultra-Luxury strategy.
- Maintain accountability for customer retention and profitability in each department of the dealership.
- Plan dealership operations for the coming year and submit to the company for approval.
- Provide dealer with accurate monthly reports on the financial condition of the dealership.
- Work with dealership Controller to ensure that the monthly financial statement is complete, accurate, and submitted on time for each of the 6 manufacturers.
- Meet with managers individually to develop monthly and annual goals and objectives, and to review performance and budget achievement
- Be highly engaged with retail process across Sales, F&I, Parts and Service.
- Review and approve compensation plans for all employees.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with manufacturers through constant contact and advocacy
- Address customer escalations with empathy and professionalism, turning negative situations into positive outcomes.
- Provide positive, enthusiastic, and consistent leadership to maintain and grow employee engagement across all levels
- Remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, guiding the team to navigate challenges effectively and uphold the company's values.
- Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilize sound judgment in decision making.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to maximize profitability.
- Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Oversee vehicle inventory levels and purchasing strategies to ensure optimal stock.
- Collaborate with manufacturers and vendors to secure desirable models.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales, service, and administrative staff.

Click here for Washington State benefit information.Pay:We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $172,300.00 - $271,375.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
