Salary: $16.00 USD Hourly - $17.00 USD Hourly
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Assc Patient Care Coordinator to join their team!
Scope of role:
Location: Remote
Hours: M-F 8:00am to 4:30pm CST
Job Engagement: Contract
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Verify patients insurance eligibility
- Submit for authorization for when required
- Monitor authorization status
- Document accurate and detailed authorization approvals or denials
- Investigate and submit for retro authorizations for services that are denied to do no authorization
- Work collaboratively with members of their team
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Epic Experience (at least 1 year)
- Healthcare prior authorization experience (preferably in radiology imaging area or surgical/admissions area)
