Zurich North America is currently hiring an Application Delivery Manager I and this person will work in a hybrid schedule out of our Schaumburg North America HQ. This person will report within the Chief Data Office.

Responsibilities:

• Prioritization of data and reporting requests from the business stakeholders.
• Work directly with business stakeholders on production issues.
• Manage applications delivery, maintenance, and production.
• Manage code conflict within projects.
• Scrum/Kanban Master responsibilities through facilitation and servant leadership of Scrum/Kanban team resources to execute and complete team commitments.
• Manage vendor onshore and offshore resources.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the IT area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the IT area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the IT area AND
• 4 or more years maintaining IT hardware and software.
• Experience with IT architecture and infrastructure.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Data management and data interrogation.
• Experience with SQL Server or another relational database.
• Strong SQL querying experience.
• Knowledge of ETL processes.
• Experience working in agile methodology.
• Experience working in the insurance industry.
• Ability to communicate technical to business stakeholders.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
