We are looking for an Analyst, skilled with Excel to work for a global logistics company in Orange County, CA. The role is onsite in Fountain Valley, long term contract (covering an LOA) and pays up to $38/hr

You will oversee supply performance for items procured from overseas and domestic suppliers to meet inventory objectives. Planning and control of these parts requires timely and accurate forecast preparation, ordering, and expediting techniques, in addition to customer service consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast and order assigned parts to meet corporate fill rate and inventory objectives.
• Expedite vendor purchase orders to minimize critical inventory and dealer back order situations.
• Coordinate, oversee and place initial orders for new model parts as required to ensure parts availability at time of vehicle wholesale.
• Miscellaneous maintenance of part master and purchase order data.

Experience Requirements

• 2-4 years of demonstrated experience in quantitative analysis, financial/accounting concepts, and business strategy development.
• Experience with inventory planning required
• Automotive experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelors Degree is preferred

Skills

• Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Excellent organizational skills (Reports and Timelines).
• Flexibility and responsiveness to changing circumstances.
