Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Department: Administration
Reports To: Executive Assistant
Hours: Full Time, 40 Hours/Week (Monday-Friday)
Summary:
Join our team as an Administrative Assistant, supporting various departments by providing essential office and administrative assistance. Your role involves maintaining organization, coordinating meetings, handling supplies, supporting special projects, and ensuring smooth office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily office activities and uphold organizational values.
- Manage filing systems and maintain agency-wide materials.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and assist with documentation.
- Coordinate communication, office supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Handle special projects, provide assistance to departments, and maintain confidentiality.
- Aid in event planning, update community boards, and engage in agency committees.
- Adapt to diverse challenges, work well under pressure, and maintain a customer-oriented approach.
- Collaborate effectively in team settings or work independently as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of an A.A./A.S. degree in Business, Marketing or related to Social Services industry.
- 2 years of experience working/volunteering for a non-profit organization.
- Must be able to communicate clearly; both verbally and in writing.
- Possess the ability to work as a team member, take initiative and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude with very strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to self-start, work independently and achieve high standards to meet multiple deadlines.
- Proven ability to determine appropriate course of action, referral or response.
- Credibility, integrity and emotional maturity.
