POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Department Head and/or Lead Faculty, Adjunct Instructors have as their chief duty the instruction of assigned classes, providing quality instruction for student learning, and maintaining a positive learning environment in the classroom. Responsibilities for Adjunct Instructors include conducting classes using appropriate instructional practices, maintaining attendance records, evaluating student performance on assignments or lab activities, assigning midterm grades, assigning final grades, utilizing faculty feedback, completing mandatory training as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.
Beyond teaching responsibilities, Adjunct Instructors must comply with and support college policies outlined in the Strategic Plan, the College Catalog, the Adjunct Faculty Handbook, and the Employment Agreement.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
All BUSN courses: Master's degree in Business or Business Administration or Bachelor's degree in Business or Bachelor's degree and meets at least two of the following professional certification criteria:
* Two Years of Work Experience
(other than teaching)
* Teaching Excellence Awards
* Professional Certifications
* Research and/or Publication
* Additional Graduate-level Coursework Or By Exception
ECON 2100 and ECON 2200 courses: Master's degree in Economics or Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Economics or by exception
ACCT 1010 and ACCT 1020 courses: Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Accounting, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting and meets at least two of the following professional certification criteria:
* Two Years of Work Experience
(other than teaching)
* Teaching Excellence Awards
* Professional Certifications
* Research and/or Publication
* Additional Graduate-level Coursework Or By Exception
INFS 1010 (Computer Applications) course: Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems and meets at least two of the following professional certification criteria:
* Two Years of Work Experience
(other than teaching)
* Teaching Excellence Awards
* Professional Certifications
* Research and/or Publication
* Additional Graduate-level Coursework Or By Exception
