Facility: Wellstar Neurosurgery

Wellstar Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work with our well-established Neurosurgery team on a PRN basis at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in Marietta, GA.

Responsibilities will be only at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital, to include:

• ER consults and admissions

• Managing inpatients / answering RN calls, with bedside patient assessments as appropriate (for Neuro ICU, Ortho/Spine, and acute care patients)

• Answering overnight calls from outpatients

• First assist in the OR and placing post-op orders for patients who require emergency surgical intervention

Previous Neurosurgery experience is preferred

Graduation from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program.
Current licensure in the State of Georgia as an Advanced Practice Provider
