Salary: $18.00 USD Hourly - $20.00 USD Hourly
Description:
Large manufacturing company is looking for an Accounting Specialist

This is a full time on-site position M-F 8am - 5pm

$18-20/hr + Overtime

Responsibilities ~

- Carrying out administrative duties such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, responding to emails (Outlook), and preparing documents (Word/PowerPoint).

- Performing bookkeeping tasks such as receiving/printing vendor invoices (Outlook), matching vendor invoices to appropriate receiving documents, updating the status of materials received (QuickBooks), tracking project progression from proposal through shipping, and other support as needed.

- Entering accounts payable bills into QuickBooks once approved.

- Reconciling company credit card statements and receipts for posting into QuickBooks.

- Assisting with project job costing in Excel.

- Updating proposals, purchase orders, and release logs regularly

- Maintaining general office files, including vendor files and other files related to the company's operations.

Requirements ~

- High school diploma or some college in business, administration, or a related field.

- 1 year experience in entry-level accounting or higher.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams).

- Comfortable handling confidential information.
