Description: Our client is currently seeking an Accountant in Doylestown, PA!
This is a full-time contract role (40HPW), going through Jan 2025 with extensions based on performance
Mon-Fri business hours
This job will have the following responsibilities:
- Accrual Basis Accounting (ASC 606)
- General ledger accounting and reconciliation
- Complicated bank reconciliations (20-page statement, 300+ transactions, $5M+ activity each month) prepared and maintained in an accurate, current manner.
- Prepaids and accruals/Financial reporting/Budget analysis/Journal entries
- ASC 842 (Lease Accounting)
- Ability to pull data out of EHR and marrying it with bank reconciliations
- Assist in gathering and reconciling data for annual audit as required
- Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
- 1-5 years Accounting exp in above duties
- Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Non-Profit background ideally in Healthcare
- Preferred experience in: Grants and Contracts Administration and Non-Profit &/or healthcare sectors
- MIP Software
