Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop. This role offers the opportunity to transition from a temporary position to a permanent role within the company. Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients.
• Perform reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheets.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing as needed.
• Support tax preparation and compliance.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure their financial needs are met with precision and timeliness.
• Utilize QuickBooks Online and Desktop for all accounting functions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience with QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices.
• Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage relationships with multiple clients.
• Prior experience working with startups or in the life sciences industry is a plus.
• Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $33 - $37 per hr.
